Lama Dondam has completed two traditional long retreats (each of three years and three fortnights in length) at Tsatsa Demo Gon Monastery in Tibet. Following this he became Retreat Master of the long retreat at Lhalang Gonpa. As well as focussing on intensive practice of Dharma he has also studied in Palpung Dharma College (Shedra).

Lama Katen, visiting Lamas, the Samye Ling Sangha, and the lay community celebrated Saga Dawa on the auspicious 15th day of this Holy month. Together, they made offerings to Lord Buddha and recited “Prayers to the 16 Elders (Arhats).”
