Towards improving our quality of life

Life is hard! On the outside we may seem very well but our inner life can be unnecessarily unhappy.

We can restore balance to our inner life if we find out who we truly are. This weekend a range of practices will be offered to help us accept painful circumstances with kindness and compassion, whilst challenging our habits of suffering unnecessarily.

Modern society is out of balance through everything changing so fast and too little respect for fundamental human values.

We can slow down and inwardly, at least, find balance. Alongside these teachings, there will be some instruction on coordination and how it is so important for our lives. The other subject will be impermanence and how to be flexible and adaptable rather than rigid and easily upset by change.

Based on the principles of the books “Taming The Tiger” and "Restoring the Balance" by Akong Rinpoche, this course is suitable for all those who seek a better quality of life.
