Summer Meditation Retreat

2:30pm 13 August 2025 - 12:00pm 20 August 2025

Cost: £0.00

Venue: Samye Ling

Bookings for this retreat will open on 16th June 2025

Every year since October 2013 when our Founder Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche passed away, Drupon Khen Rinpoche has come to Samye Ling at exactly that time of year, to lead a week-long retreat for the benefit of Akong Rinpoche’s many students and friends.

This year sadly Drupon Rinpoche is unable to come in October, though we're delighted that he will come in August instead.

Drupon Rinpoche will lead a one-week retreat from 13th to 20th August 2025 which will follow a similar format to the previous Anniversary Retreats, with a mix of daily meditation sessions and teaching sessions.

The Retreat will begin at 2.30pm on 13th August and finish at lunchtime on 20th August.

Bookings for this retreat will open on 16th June 2025.  To register and book accommodation please email bookings@samyeling.org.  All participants must register and must undertake to attend all sessions.

There is no fee for this retreat, though donations may be made in the Reception Office.
