Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche’s 11th Anniversary on 8th October

Programme for the day

We begin the week-long practice dedicated to our precious Founder, Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche at 11am in the Temple. 

Akong Rinpoche’s brother, our Abbot Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche  will give a talk and everyone is invited

After the talk, anyone who wishes may make an offering to Akong Rinpoche’s throne (for example a traditional white scarf or ‘katta’) and greet Lama Rinpoche

You are also most welcome to stay for lunch ** in Samye Ling Dining Hall (at 12.30pm).

The Anniversary Meditation Retreat begins at 2.30pm. The first teaching session is open to anyone, even if not registered for the retreat.  All practice sessions are also open to anyone.

After the first teaching session, only those registered may attend teachings.
