Spring in Samye Ling

Today we were joined by Ven Lama Dondam (who has just finished leading 8 sets of Nyungney), also Lama Lodoe (chant master for upcoming UK Kagyu Monlams) as well as residents and guests. Our happiness was complete when Lama Yeshe Rinpoche came along to spend a little time with us.

Tomorrow our visiting Lamas will begin two days of prayers dedicated to people who have passed away.  This will culminate in a procession and the installation of ashes of the deceased in the Prayer Wheel Walkway and the Stupa.

Following this, on 30th May until 5th June 2025, the Lamas, along with many other visiting Lamas and Sangha and lay people, will join us for the 5th UK Kagyu Monlam.
