ONE YEAR MEN’S RETREAT

15 Jan 2017

There will be a golden opportunity for men to participate in a One Year Ngondro Retreat in our Samye Dechen Shing Men’s Retreat on the Isle of Arran, beginning in approximately mid-October 2017.

Applicants should be in good physical and mental health and fully committed to spending one year in retreat practicing the traditional Mahamudra Foundation Practices.

The retreat will be led by Drupon Rinpoche, Khenpo Lhabu, who will be assisted by Kating Lama.

Drupon Rinpoche will give preliminary teachings for the retreat in Samye Ling from 21st September to 7th October 2017 (click here for details).

Also, during the retreat, all the teaching Rinpoche gives in Sekar Retreat in Nepal will be transmitted to the Men’s Retreat.  So this is a very special opportunity for anyone wishing to study and practice under the guidance of an excellent teacher and in an ideal retreat environment.

If this initial one year of retreat goes well, there is also the possibility of remaining in the retreat for up to three years.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you interested in joining the retreat.

To apply please send an email to lhamo@samyeling.org, including information about yourself, who your teacher is, how long you have been practicing and any retreats you have done.

A long term retreat for women is already in progress so the Women’s Retreat on Holy Isle is not currently available for a new intake of retreatants, therefore this one year retreat is open only to men.
