Originally initiated by His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa in the 1970s we are in the final phase of our building project.  Now with a visit from the 17th Karmapa looking very likely our aim is to complete as much of the building work as we can before His Holiness arrives.  But we've run out of money!

By sponsoring an item ~ from as small as a building block costing only £10, to a skylight at £1,000 ~ you will help keep the project going. Whatever you decide to sponsor, it can be dedicated to anyone you choose - and it will become part of the final phase of the Samye Project, destined to house lecture theatres, multi-faith library, audio-video department, offices and accommodation.

The names of all sponsors as well as the person they dedicate their offering to will be entered in a grand register of names which will be kept in the new library once the building is completed.
